If you buy some beans, your family will get free delicious coffee or calpis-drink service.
I & my husband ordered cupttino. The owner and staffs are very kind, and the coffees are so delicious. It is my favorite place.

KALDI

My favorite shop is KALDI. They sell imported foods, not only coffee, but snack, tea, alcohol, seasoning..etc. I love looking around, and I usually buy unique sweets from many countries.
KALDI is in iias shopping mall, and in AEON tsuchiura shopping mall.

Blueberry picking at Ninomiya

I went blueberry picking at Ninomiya with my family.


The owner said it is the second year after opening the farm. The farm is big and located next to Ninomiya House.

It opened on June 15th this year.
You can enjoy picking until the end of July. There are some kinds of blueberry trees, so try to taste the difference of them. They are chemical free production, so just pick, and eat until you are full. There is no time limit.

Matsubokkuri preschool's flea market on 7/3

Matsubokkuri preschool (まつぼっくり保育園) is going to have flea market on July 3 (Sun) from 11:00 ~ 13:00 at Namiki Kinrin park (並木近隣公園 Map). If it rains, it will be held at Namiki Shukaijo (並木集会所). It seems to sell used clothes for adults and children, and snack and some food, daily items. Don't miss it!

Hitachi Gakuin Preschool Flea Market

Hitachi Gakuin Preschool Flea Market

The flea market is held on June 18th (Sat) from 10:00 to 11:30 at Hitachi Gakuin Preschool. Map

It seems to sell daily necessaries, food and snacks, etc. Take your slippers to walk in a room.

Nemophila

I went to Hitachi Kaihin Kouen (ひたち海浜公園) on May 2.
The blue flower Nemophila was full bloom, and covered the hill.
It was very beautiful.

If you take high way, go to the Tomobe(友部) junction, and take Ooarai(大洗) way. You will get off at Hitachi Kaihin Kouen(ひたち海浜公園) I.C. which is at the end of the high way.

See the park map, you can find Nemophila at ⑦ area. It takes 25 minutes walk from the gate, or 10 minutes by bicycle which can be rented. Bicycle-rental fee is  300 yen / 3 hours. It is good season to ride a bicycle. We enjoyed it.
