We sometimes go to the Central Library, and Expo Center in the Chuou Park.
There are many magazines, and picture books in the library.
My son usually wants to ride on the small SL, Thomas in front of the Expo Center. In Expo Center, you can enjoy some science experience, and planetarium. If your child is not scared in the planetarium theater, it is good idea to buy the annual passport (adult : 1600 yen, child aged over 4: 800 yen). The planetarium program changes every season, so children can enjoy every constellation and animation related to the star. It is like movie. But my son is scared of dark theater, so maybe next year.
Only seeing exhibition : Adult 300 yen , Child aged over 4: 150 yen
exhibition and planetarium : Adult 800 yen , Child aged over 4: 400 yen
