My family went to the Ushiku Athletic Park's pool yesterday. It was the first time for us, and I thought the pool is very wide and beautiful. There are 50M big indoor pool , and outside pool for kids. After your child is out of diapers, he/she can play in these pools. You can take a swimming tube, and float ball, and kids can enjoy swimming with a tube in 2 lane of the 50M pool. The 2-lane is raised to 8ocm-deep pool, so my son 3 year's old could stand up. Of course you can use a swimming tube in outdoor pool. Unfortunately, it was too cool to swim in outdoor pool yesterday, so my husband and son swam in 50M pool most of the time. ( The water temperature was 31 ℃, but outside air is 27℃.) It has a heated room on 2nd floor, so it makes you warm if you feel cold.
