Doho Park (洞峰公園) Map
This is one of the biggest park in Tsukuba. There are indoor swimming pool, tennis court, playground and equipment. My child enjoy feeding duck in a pond every time.
If you want to swim with your child, you can join the swimming class.
Mother and baby swimming class :
It is suitable for over 6 months baby and mother. You can apply anytime at the information desk in the gymnastic hall. You need to pay 2 months lesson fee in advance and entrance fee 3000 yen included swimming cap and baby's swimming wear and float. Tuesday or Thursday's morning lesson is 10:00 ~ 10:45, evening lesson is 14:00 ~ 14:45. Wednesday's lesson is 11:00 ~ 11:45. You can choose the day and time. Once in a week is 3500 yen, and twice is 4500 yen per month. (2008, December)
Over 4 year children swimming class : 3500 yen / month, once in a week
Maternity swimming class : 6000 yen / month ( Tuesday or Thursday, 12:00~12:50 )
If you want to swim by your self in the 50 M pool, the fee is 350 yen / adult.
Other Doho Park's classes
Each class is limited for 3 month. You can apply by reply postal card at least 10 days before the term.
1term : January ~ March,
2 term : April ~ June,
3term : July ~ September,
4term : October ~ December
Over 4 year tennis class : 7000~9100 yen ....That is total fee of class series, 10~13 times.
If you want to enjoy playing tennis, you can book tennis court.
1 tennis court fee : 640 yen / 2 hours
In the gym
Gym lesson for adults and children :
The class is suitable for children begin to walk. Monday 11:00 ~ 12:00, 12 times 9600 yen, or Wednesday 13:00~14:00, 8 times 6400 yen.
Gym lesson for children aged 3and half ~5 years : every Wednesday, 10times, 8000 yen
Gym lesson for children aged 5 years ~ 11 years : Wed or Fri, 10~13 times, 6000~7800 yen
Gym lesson for Mom and Baby : Thursday 13:00 ~ 14:00, or 14:10 ~ 15:10, 12 times, 10500yen
The class is suitable for 0~12 months baby and mother.
Succor class for children aged 6~8 years : every Thursday 17:00 ~ 18:30, 13 times, 10500 yen
Karate class for elementary school kids : every Friday 17:30 ~ 18:30, 13 times, 10500 yen
