cherry-blossom viewing event

It's almost cherry-blossom viewing season in Tsukuba.

I reccomend you Banpaku Kinen park (万博記念公園 Map) and Hukuokazeki Sakura park (福岡堰さくら公園Map) to have a picnic in early April.

I heard the cherry- blossom viewing event is going to be held at Shimin Kenshu Center (市民研修センター Map).
Date and Time : April 4 (Sat) 9:30〜15:30
You can find good items at 100 yen refreshment booth, frea market, etc..

It is the chance to see the full bloom of Sakura around Houjou Ooike (北条大池) that is located near the Shimin Kenshu Center.
