How are you?

There are still some aftershocks in Tsukuba.
The news of devastated area makes me sad, and I want to cry everyday.
I hope Tohoku's people will send usual life soon.

I went to Banpaku Kinen Park (万博記念公園). The cherry blossoms were in full bloom. Map

hi kumi!

yes it is very sad. but we should try to focus on the good inspiring news and be optimistic for our children.

turn off the tv. even NOT in times of disaster it is full of depressing news. so i am glad we don't have one.

cheer up and enjoy nice spring days!

where are you donating to? i want to know what is the most effective...and the way money can be used most effectively...do you know a good place? red cross...i have my doubts about them, though i think they are pretty good. but......

Hi, Vivian!

Thank you so much. You are very kind and positive.I have to be.
I'm thinking to donate to red cross at post office. I have no idea which is the best...

Hi,
I am a foreign mother here, having similar sad and down feeling as you described since 311.

However, I start to force myself to go back to normal life again, including handling something which is trivial and troublesome.

I am working on fixing my 4th grade daughter's current school life and future studies. She is studying very well and having very advanced instrument playing talent, and has humble heart as I can see, yet she has been often teased by few specific girls at school with unknown intentions...

Maybe there are some web discussions in Tsukuba about kids's school life or educations for the elementary/junior high level?
