You can give birth at Tsukuba Gakuen Hospital

and Tsukuba University Hospital as well.

I heard the doctors speak some English in both hospital, but the staff can't speak English in Gakuen Hospital. If you go to the University Hospital, you need a referral letter.

Now, city gives you money 420000 yen after you give birth, but it can't cover all of the giving birth cost. You should pay about 1000 yen each pregnant check up even if you show the ticket, and you need 550000~600000 yen to admission and give birth.

There are two Gynecology doctors, and both can speak some English. If you like female doctor, you can choose Dr. Nozue. If you don't have a referral, it costs 1050 yen.
